Barred owl sound – you will hear many barred owls exchanging “owl sounds”. All I can tell you is – “It’s a jungle out there!”
This barred owl was captured at twilight.
Here a barred owl near Montrose Minnesota, caught a mouse. I watched the owl sitting on a perch for a long time. At one point, it saw something, jumped off its perch, swooped down and caught this critter. It brought the mouse back to its perch and proceeded to eat it.
