Unusual to see otters on the river, at least it was. My first sighting was in 2005 when I spotted a lone otter on the ice.
Move forward to 2018 when I spotted two otters, then three!
Ultimately, seeing six otters playing and foraging together was a little shocking!
Most recently (March 22nd 2020) the group of otters was seen interacting with a young eagle who was intersted in stealing their fish. They were having none of that!
